BUILDING SUSTAINABLE SUCCESS & A HEALTHY MIND

Invest in Appreciating Assets - Your looks are depreciating, your mind is appreciating. Derive self-worth from virtues like wisdom, kindness, and insight rather than appearance. At 70, you can still rule through character rather than aesthetics.

Follow Interest, Not Obligation - Anyone forcing themselves to create something they don't care about will be outworked by someone who genuinely loves the process. Build projects around what genuinely makes you curious, rather than what you think should interest you.

"It is idiots all the way up dude. That's the lesson that I've learned. You know, I've been around some of the richest, most status-fueled, most followed famous people on the planet since moving to America and no one really knows what they're doing."

- Chris Williamson

Normalise Saying "I Don't Know" - Most people cobble together opinions from half-remembered hearsay just to have an opinion at all. Instead, become comfortable with intellectual humility. You can be an expert in maybe three things; everything else deserves an honest "I don't know."

Use Obsessiveness Strategically - Channel your obsessive tendencies into projects that serve you rather than fighting against what comes to you naturally. If you're going to be obsessive, make it work for you.

"Everything gets easier. You're more confident. Your health is improving... and then something happens. It's like being at the top of a roller coaster, going up and up and up, and then you go like... oh, fuck."

— Chris Williamson

Sustainable success isn't necessarily about grinding harder.

It requires building genuine competence, developing real relationships, and finding meaning beyond external achievements.

It's also about working with your psychology, with your interests and with your expertise, rather than against it.

Later this week, we’ll be sending a deep dive into everything that was covered in more detail to ensure you don’t miss any value from your watching.

Until the next one, keep crushing it,
